Home runs by Taylor Stafford and Jo McNabb helped power East Mississippi Community College to an 8-4 nightcap road win over Pearl River Community College during Saturday’s MACJC baseball doubleheader split at Wildcat Field. In the opener, the home-standing Wildcats plated two runs in the bottom of the ninth to claim a 7-6 walk-off victory over the Lions.

EMCC Lions earn doubleheader baseball split at Copiah-Lincoln with 9-6 nightcap triumph

A three-run sixth inning lifted the East Mississippi Community College baseball team to a 9-6 nightcap victory in earning a doubleheader split with Copiah-Lincoln Community College during Friday afternoon MACJC action played at Sullivan Field. In the opener, Co-Lin scored three runs in the eighth and held on for an 8-6 win over the Lions.

Alex Knight's walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh lifted East Mississippi Community College to a 3-2 nightcap win and a baseball doubleheader split with Southern Union State Community College Tuesday afternoon at Tartt Field on the University of West Alabama campus. EMCC was shut out in the opener, 5-0, by the visiting Bison.

EMCC Lions earn season's first win in doubleheader split with Jackson State CC on West Alabama's campus

In their scheduled home season opener moved to the University of West Alabama campus because of recent tornado damage sustained to the school's baseball facility in Scooba, the Lions of East Mississippi Community College picked up their first win of the season in splitting a Sunday afternoon doubleheader with Jackson State (Tenn.) Community College at UWA's Tartt Field.

EMCC Lions set to open baseball season this weekend at tourney hosted by top-ranked Northwest Florida State

Having averaged 30 wins during the past two years, the East Mississippi Community College baseball team is set to begin the 2016 campaign with as much preseason optimism as the previous two successful seasons. The Lions are slated to open the new season this weekend at the Carl McInnis Classic, hosted by preseason top-ranked and defending NJCAA Division I National Champion Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.
