The East Mississippi Community College rodeo teams closed out the regular-season portion of their NIRA Ozark Region schedules with a second-place men’s finish and a third-place women’s finish at Northwest Mississippi Community College’s annual Ranger Rodeo. The three-day event concluded Saturday night at the Northwest Multipurpose Arena.

The three-day NIRA Ozark Region event concluded Saturday night at the Drew County Fairgrounds.
East Mississippi Community College’s rodeo teams remain in second place on the women’s side and third in men’s competition among the current Ozark Region standings following their performances this past weekend at the University of Tennessee at Martin’s 54th annual Spring College Rodeo. UT Martin’s three-day event concluded Saturday evening at the Ned McWhorter Agricultural Pavilion.
The East Mississippi Community College men’s rodeo team claimed a second straight runner-up finish to open the Ozark Region’s spring slate by placing second again this past weekend at the Pearl River Community College Rodeo. EMCC’s women placed third at the three-day event that concluded Saturday evening at the Pearl River County Fairgrounds Arena.
Host East Mississippi Community College claimed runner-up team finishes in both men’s and women’s competition this past weekend during the school’s 10th Annual Intercollegiate Rodeo. The three-day event concluded with Saturday night’s championship round held at the Lauderdale County Agri-Center.
