East Mississippi Community College dropped a pair of tight decisions to visiting East Central Community College Tuesday night during MACJC basketball action at Keyes T. Currie Coliseum. The EMCC women let a halftime lead slip away in falling, 72-69, while the Lions also came up just short, 82-80, in the men’s nightcap on the Scooba campus.
The East Mississippi Community College women’s basketball team held on for a 61-59 road victory over Meridian Community College to successfully open the new year Thursday evening at Graham Gymnasium.
The beginning of November signals the tip-off of the MACJC basketball season, as East Mississippi Community College hits the hardwood this week to open the 2016-17 hoops campaign.
